Op diverse locaties wordt op meer dan 125 hectare paprika&#8217;s geteeld.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Omdat de kassen van tegenwoordig steeds groter zijn, en we de beschikbare ruimte zo effici\u00ebnt mogelijk willen benutten, kiezen wij voor zogenoemde &#8220;oversteek&#8221; platformen van Besseling Techniek. Al op \u00e9\u00e9n van de eerste locaties van ons bedrijf, in Nootdorp, hebben wij gezien dat de Roofmaster een duidelijke meerwaarde geeft. Licht is voor ons als kweker heel belangrijk, het bepaalt in grote mate de productie van onze plant. Hoe meer licht, hoe meer paprika&#8217;s, dus daar moeten we zeker vanaf de herfst goed bij stil staan. Op elk van onze andere kassen hebben we een Roofmaster installatie, dat zijn er inmiddels als 9, maar elke installatie is anders.<\/p>\n<p>In Luttelgeest en Marknesse hebben we gekozen voor een platform dat twee kassen met elkaar verbindt. De machine rijdt over een speciaal gemaakt platform tussen de kassen door en kan zo beide kanten wassen. Door de speciale software die Besseling Techniek ontwikkeld heeft, hoeft de machine niet opgetild en gedraaid te worden maar kan deze in dezelfde richting blijven staan. Een veilige gedachte want we hebben over installaties die al snel op zo&#8217;n 6-7 meter hoogte staan en best een gewicht hebben.<\/p>\n<p>Op onze meest recente kassen zijn de gevels ongelijk van lengte. De kassenbouwer heeft toen met de engineers van Besseling Techniek overlegt om een oplossing te vinden. Dat ging snel en soepel. Door het verlengen en ondersteunen van de rail op een kas, kan de dekwasser de beide kassen in zijn geheel wassen en zodoende alle paprikaplanten van meer licht
